Advancing Education

The UC Trust enhances the international experience for UC students, faculty and staff by promoting continuous learning and innovation with partners across the UK & Europe.
The UC Trust worked in collaboration with UC Santa Cruz to host distinguished alumnus Andrew Kramer, NYT Bureau Chief for Ukraine, at the Frontline Club in 2025.

The UC Trust fosters collaboration, innovation, and mutual learning, enriching the experiences of students and alumni while advancing research and societal progress in the UK and Europe.

We advance education by supporting cross-border knowledge exchange, scholarship access, and global citizenship. We facilitate faculty lectures, student mixers, research showcases, and alumni career panels. The UC Trust supports campuses with infrastructure to help them foster their European alumni community. We host UC faculty for  lectures, convene conversations on climate change, arts and global politics.  By connecting local audiences with distinguished professors and visiting leaders, the Trust amplifies the UC system’s impact well beyond California, fostering dialog, learning and pride in the university’s global research.

Berkeley Haas Student Welcome to London

The UC Trust ensures that students studying and travelling in Europe have a strong time to their UC community. In collaboration with the UC Education Abroad Program, we host receptions, career panels, and cultural events to enhance the study abroad experience.
